THE STORY

The premonition of her son’s early death was ignored as she went about day-to-day life as a mother. He thrived through his young life before the unthinkable happened. Out of nowhere, a deadly virus attacked his brain and his life as he knew it was over. Lorencito Mio, is a documentary about a young, San Diegan bodybuilder’s life as told through a love poem written for him by his mother as well as told by the people whose lives he touched and loved so much. Learn from the neurological medical team and from the specialty nurses as they explain about the rare illness that Lorenzo Roberto contracted and how he rehabilitated and made it home to finish his healing as he worked to get his brain back from the attack. Lorencito Mio, captures the strength, dignity and perseverance of a young soul as he endures a grizzly illness; recovering from brain trauma, as he makes it home and back to training at Stern’s Gym, his happy place, on his way to following the course to his eternal path
